Here are some of the things we’ve discovered while doing our trailer makeovers.
Primer for use on cabinets and walls:
Cabinet Paint:
Stick-on Vinyl Plank Flooring:
Super-easy to cut and stick! Inexpensive and comes in a variety of colors and wood grains.
Upholstery & Fabric:
I like Jo-Ann Fabrics because they have great remnants and their home decor fabrics are almost always 50% off. I use plain muslin for curtains most of the time because it is a warm neutral and light filtering.
I paid someone on craigslist to do the upholstery for our first trailer. On the second one, I carefully took apart the old upholstery and made notes as to how the pieces went together, and watched some YouTube videos on upholstering. I also saved the old zippers from the long cushions and re-used them.
